Line boring

This is a discipline performed by my Field Service division at Wood Brothers. Anywhere on a machine there is a moving part, the machines will wear out a bore if a bushing fails, it will make the bore out of round and over sized. We will go in, and machine the bore until it is concentric again. We then build up the bore with weld until it is "under spec" then go back with boring bar and cut the bore back to specification.
